Social commentary through dress “Water Will Carry Us” draws inspiration from Nigeria`s historic yet sadly grossly abused community on stilts Makoko especially during a time where the state in which it is resident, Lagos is under-water. Something of a clarion call to the realities they have suffered, this collection also applauds the strength, resilience and communal bond that held and still holds the community together.
