Adama Paris is the professional name and eponymous fashion label of Adama Amanda Ndiaye, a pioneering Senegalese fashion designer and entrepreneur who has spent over two decades championing African fashion on the global stage. Born in Kinshasa to diplomat parents and raised across Europe, she famously left a corporate career in banking to build an international fashion empire rooted in multicultural urban globalism.

Founded in 2001, her ready-to-wear brand blends modern, Western silhouettes with traditional African aesthetics, emphasizing bold prints and sustainable materials like handwoven Senegalese cotton. Her designs are manufactured primarily in Morocco and Senegal. Ndiaye founded this iconic exhibition to expand the international visibility of African designers. It has grown into the longest-running fashion week on the African continent.
