Founded in 2009 by Jo Maiden, SOKO Kenya is a premier, eco-friendly apparel manufacturer operating inside the country’s Export Processing Zone (EPZ) in Kikambala, Kilifi County.They partner with high-profile global fashion houses (such as ASOS, ALÉMAIS, and Hayley Menzies) to produce high-quality, large-scale commercial garments. The factory operates as a people-first social enterprise. It pays fair living wages and is heavily women-led—women make up roughly 80% of their 150-person workforce and occupy all senior leadership roles.
